Police Reports: 2016-02-05

• Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at 3:18 a.m. Saturday, on the 800 block of University Street. Three non-students were arguing while in a parked car, and as one male passenger exited the vehicle, he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The male was uninjured and refused medical treatment. He is not pressing charges.

• An officer performing rounds stopped a group of five students outside of Williams Hall at 11:44 p.m. Jan. 28. The officer noticed the students were drinking, and after the five were stopped, two students ran away.
The two were issued municipal ordinance violation citations, and all five individuals were detained.

• An officer received a report of a female student making threats to another female student at 9 p.m. Jan. 29 on the 800 block of N. Tobias Lane.
The victim reported she received text message and voicemail threats, and the first female was issued a notice to appear in court.

• Officers received a report of domestic battery at 5:07 a.m. Sunday. A female student on the 800 block of N. Underhill Street reported a male non-student was repeatedly yelling at her and poking her face. She retaliated and slapped his hand away.
The male was arrested, and the female student refused medical treatment and counseling.

• A hall director reported a racist hate word carved into an elevator at University Hall to police at 11:20 p.m. Monday. The vandalism was discovered and reported to the hall director by a resident advisor, and another student took digital photos to present to the BUPD.
The suspect remains unknown.
