Before Scout Olympics started, there were many questions pondered in anticipation of the event. Could Scout Olympics live up to the hype from the preview? Would we really make it through the day? Do I stand a future as a Las Vegas odds-maker?

The answers are definitely yes, surprisingly yes and never.

Though my predictions were the worst ideas since Miley Cyrus tried to become a serious actress, the day was still a success. 

To figure out how it worked, the scoring system was simple, with first place earning three points, second earning two, third earning one and fourth earning zero.

Masterpiece: A person’s greatest piece of work. While this is a vague definition of the astounding performance of “Twelfth Night,” put on by the Bradley theater, it is nevertheless the only word that describes everything this magnificent play has to offer.

From the superb casting that placed every actor in their destined roles to the clever humor that is present in every scene, “Twelfth Night” is unquestionably one of the best plays I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. It’s witty, captivating, emotional and at times down right dirty with its unapologetic sense of humor that will have you bursting at the seams with laughter.

“Family Guy” is one of those shows that probably should not be reviewed by a female because of the crude male-dominated humor found in nearly every episode. But I’m going to do it anyway. 

“The Simpsons” has long dominated the cartoon-animated comedy sitcom scene. However, there is a newer program that has experienced widespread popularity among everyone. This new breed of comedy presents itself as equally, if not more, lewd, rude and cringe-worthy. 

What is it about this new attempt at entertainment that America finds so delightful? Many argue that these shows portray what middle-class America is all about. Apparently, we have regressed culturally to intelligent talking dogs, murdering maniacal youngsters and yellow skin tones.
