Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity will host their annual St. Baldrick’s Day on Olin Quad today at 11:30 a.m.
St. Baldrick’s Day is a national charity event that aims to collect money to support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Students will be shaving their heads to raise money as well as awareness for childhood cancer research.
The event will kick off with a commencement speech from Mayor of Peoria Jim Ardis, and will continue throughout the day until about 4 p.m.
Burgers and hot dogs will be sold at the event, and all students are invited to stop by and donate to support the foundation.
