Police Reports: 2016-03-10

• Officers received a complaint about loud music coming from a Main Street Commons apartment at 5:20 p.m. March 2.
Officers smelled marijuana from outside the room, but they were unable to enter because they received no answer at the door.

• Officers responded to a fight at 1:14 a.m. March 5 on the 700 block of W. Main Street.
A male shoved his girlfriend to the ground and punched a second male. The suspect said he was very angry, and the three individuals had been arguing. All parties involved were non-students.
The second male was transported to OSF St. Francis Medical Center, where he received two staples in his head.
The first male was arrested.

• Officers found a male non-student vomiting in his vehicle at 1:19 a.m. March 4 in the 1000 block of Glenwood Avenue.
The male student vomited on himself due to drinking too much alcohol, so medics transported him to UnityPoint Health-Methodist.

• BUPD officers assisted the Peoria Police Department in escorting a female student from the 900 block of Moss Avenue to Heitz Hall at 1:30 a.m. March 4.
The underage student had been drinking alcohol and had a fake ID.
The ID was confiscated, and medics evaluated and released the student.

• Officers responded to a fire alarm at 12:50 a.m. March 6 in the 1500 block of W. Bradley Avenue.
A male student had lit a hookah in his room, which activated the alarm. There was one other student and two non-students also in the room.
Officers shut down the party.

• A female student was found vomiting at 2:18 a.m. March 6 in the 1300 block of W. Bradley Avenue.
The underage student told officers she had been drinking at two parties, and she was very intoxicated.
Medics transported the student to UnityPoint Health-Methodist, and BUPD officers later escorted her back to campus.
