Police Reports: 2017-09-01

Officers responded to a report of an underage female student falling while intoxicated at 1:40 a.m. Aug. 26 at 912 Elmwood St.

The student was with another female student, and they had just left a party and were headed to another party when the first student fell face first on the patio of Geisert Hall.

The other female student then guided the intoxicated female but she fell again outside of Heitz Hall and needed assistance to return to her dorm room. The first student fell once more before entering her dorm room.

After observing the student, a resident advisor called Bradley University Police Department (BUPD), and the female was transported to UnityPoint Health-Methodist.

BUPD officers found a non-student male in an irrational state at 7:47 a.m. on Aug. 24 at 1108 Main St.

The male was talking about seeing people from heaven and said he was going to return to his home in Australia.

When the officer asked the male for his information, the male could not give a clear response. The officer then asked the male what year he thought it was, and the male responded that it was 1986.

The officer did not think the male was intoxicated, and the male was transported to UnityPoint Health-Methodist.

Two juveniles were reported to BUPD for stealing items from a student’s car at 6:20 p.m. on Aug. 25 at Sigma Nu fraternity on Fredonia Avenue.

A student saw the two juveniles stealing from the car and told the student who owned the car. The car’s owner then reviewed the surveillance footage, and reported the burglary to BUPD.

Officers located the two juveniles in West Peoria and found a pocketknife stolen from the student’s car, as well as an iPod.

The two juveniles were arrested.

Officers responded to a report of two suspicious non-student males who appeared to have cannabis and drug paraphernalia in their possession at 8:50 p.m. Aug. 26 on the 1300 block of W. Parkside Drive.

The officers confiscated three grams of cannabis and drug paraphernalia from the two males.

No charges were filed.
