April 21-25: Derby Days
Sigma Chi fraternity will be hosting its Derby Days philanthropy event. Events for the week will include a speaker from the Children’s Hospital of Illinois, mural painting and a burger cookout, the derby darling pageant and a serenade from members of each sorority on campus.
April 24: 4th Annual Underground Hip Hop Expo
Students United for Change, Brave Sounds Entertainment and the Association of Residence Halls are bringing some of hip-hop’s best underground acts to Renaissance Coliseum at 7 p.m. April 24. The show features Bradley’s own DJ Caleeb, Chicago rappers Saba and Spenzo, and Brooklyn’s Joey Bada$$ as headliner. The concert is free for Bradley students and $5 for the public, so be sure to come hear some sick rhymes.
April 26: Pop Punk Prom
If you missed your shot at being prom king or queen, fear not, because Brave Sounds Entertainment is giving you another shot with their Pop Punk Prom. Archie Powell & The Exports, The Noise FM and Bloom will have you dancing the night away at the Michel Student Center Ballroom from 7 to 10 p.m. April 26. The show is free and so is the pizza, so you won’t want to miss out.
April 26: Relay For Life 5 Mile Race
Bradley’s first ever five mile relay race will take place starting at 10 a.m., with registration beginning at 9 a.m. The race is hosted by Bradley’s Relay For Life chapter. There will be refreshments, a raffle and entertainment on Olin Quad, where the race will end. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society, and teams that raise at least $100 will receive t-shirts. Contact Mimi Goldberg at relayforlifebradleyu@gmail.com for any questions.

April 26: Stroll Like A Kappa
Join The Iota Kappa Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity for this year’s Stroll Like A Kappa event. Along with three Bradley teams competing in a dance competition, Josiah Williams will perform, as well as Chicago-based dance troupe Footworkingz. The event is on the Alumni Quad from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
April 30: ACBU Presents: The Fray, The Plain White T’s, and The Orwells
Activities Council of Bradley University is hosting this year’s spring concert April 30 at Renaissance Coliseum. Break out those middle school mix-tapes and get ready to rock out to The Fray and the Plain White T’s, and check out The Orwells before you head over to t

he show at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for students, $25 for faculty and staff and $35 for the public.
May 3: Beach Bash/Electric Luau Festival
Brave Sounds Entertainment brings us another unique show with their Beach Bash/Electric Luau Festival. Hang out on Olin Quad during the day for the bash filled with attractions and music from Bella Ruse and local bands. Once the sun sets, Slow Magic will take the stage, turning the night into an electric luau.
May 6: Rock the Block!
Head out to Fredonia for a concert that will rock through the end of the semester. Alpha Epsilon Pi and Brave Sounds Entertainment are bringing together some of the best EDM and local artists to perform, along with Bradley and AEPi Alum ZDDJ. Rock the Block is finishing where Welcome Week left off, with plenty of free food and good vibes.
