At 10:07 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 1100 block of College Street in reference to a vehicular burglary. The victim told police she parked her car at 9:11 p.m. and returned an hour later to find her car had been entered and several items, including an iPod and a debit card, were missing. There are no suspects at this time.
At 11:30 a.m. Monday, a man reported to University Police that someone had entered his friend’s apartment and stole his backpack at 11:59 p.m. The victim told police he forgot to lock the door to the apartment and was at a party in the same building. There are no suspects at this time.
At 2:32 a.m. Oct. 30, an unknown female flagged down an officer after she witnessed several men shining a laser pointer on people from the top of the parking deck. Officers located the men involved, confiscated the laser pointer and issued them a citation for disorderly conduct.
At 1:18 a.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to University Hall after hall staff reported criminal damage to property. Hall staff told police several men had run through the building, knocking over garbage cans and tearing posters off the walls.
Police found the men involved and hall staff positively identified them. One of the men told police he tore the posters off the wall in an act of revenge because that floor had vandalized his floor in the past.
All three men admitted to drinking, were given citations for underage drinking and were referred to Residential Life.
