Police Report 5.3.13

  • An officer was dispatched to 912 Frink St. on a report of two people arguing around 2:20 a.m. April 25. The officer met with a male student and female student and separated them. The female said she and the male were arguing but there was no physical contact. The officer asked the female for her ID and she gave him an ID that belonged to someone else. She said she got it from a friend but would not discuss it further.  She voluntarily took a breathalyzer test but the result was unsuccessful. A medic arrived on the scene and treated her. She was released and received tickets for misrepresentation of age and underage drinking, and was referred to Residential Life. The officer then spoke to the male, who admitted he drank alcohol. He also had an ID belonging to someone else. He received a ticket for misrepresentation of age and was referred to Residential Life.

  • An officer was dispatched to a residence in the 1300 block of Fredonia Avenue about a domestic issue around 11:40 p.m. Sunday. The officer talked to a male student who called in the report. He said that his boyfriend, a male non-student, was taken by his ex-boyfriend, also a male non-student, to a residence in Bartonville. The officer contacted Bartonville Police to go to the location and check the situation. The male explained the circumstances leading up to the incident to the officer. A Bartonville officer located the boyfriend and ex-boyfriend and brought them back to the Bradley University Police Department to be interviewed. Both verified what the male said explaining the incident. The ex-boyfriend was arrested for domestic battery, unlawful restraint, assault, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to land. He was transported to the Peoria County Jail and banned from Bradley property.
  • Officers went to issue a female student a subpoena at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday outside of Bradley Hall. The officers served the subpoena and said the female was uncooperative, dishonest, obstructive and aggressive during the issuance. An officer then attempted to take the female into custody for obstructing. She attempted to flee and kicked the officer. She was taken into custody for aggravated battery on police and transported to Peoria County Jail.
