Police Reports

• Two female students reported an unknown male climbing into an open window on the first floor hallway of a St. James building around 10 p.m. April 4.

Officers checked the building and rooms for the possible male suspect without results.

Officers cleared the scene without further inspection.

 

• Three male students reported an unknown male barged into the 1500 block of Bradley Ave. fraternity house around 11:15 p.m. April 4. The male demanded the location of the drugs.

The fraternity residents said the male stayed for a few minutes and then walked out the door.
There are no suspects.

 

• An officer saw a male student attempt to get into the closed Student Center around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. The male tried another door, and the officer watched him while he walked.

The male was identified and admitted to drinking. He was asked to take a breathalyzer but could not follow instructions, and an ambulance was called.

The male pulled a can of beer out of his pocket, and several other items spilled onto the sidewalk. He was patted down, and officers found two cans of chewing tobacco filled with marijuana.

He was transported to OSF St. Francis Hospital and received a notice to appear for delivery of cannabis and underage drinking.

 

• A female student reported damage to her car around 4:50 p.m. April 4.

She said she saw a female non-student co-worker lean over the hood of her car parked in the 1500 block of Bradley Ave. with an object in her hand, scraping the hood.

When the female came out of the building, the co-worker cursed at her and drove off. The officers could not contact the non-student.

The victim said she does not want to press charges.
