Police Reports: 2017-10-27

Officers located a male student who claimed to have taken acid at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at 1307 St. James St.

The student was reported to be acting crazy by another female student who saw him by Lovelace Hall and then followed him down the street.

Bradley University Police Department (BUPD) located the male student and attempted to question him, but the student repeatedly said no instead of communicating with the officers.

An officer then tried to take the student by the arm, but the student pulled away. The student then told officers he took acid and felt he was going to die.

After struggling with the officers, the student was taken into custody and later transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.

A male nonstudent attempted to steal a female students purse at 12:57 p.m. Oct. 19 in Campustown.

The student was with another female student at Starbucks when the suspect ran by their table, took the purse and ran out of the building. Two males saw the suspect take the purse and chased after him. They caught up to him and held onto him until officers arrived.

The suspect was arrested.

A male student kicked the rear door of a female students car during an argument and dented it at 11 p.m. Oct. 22 at the 1500 block of Fredonia Avenue.

Another female student saw the argument and reported it to BUPD. The male and female student were reported as being in a relationship.

Officers then located the male student, and he was arrested and taken to the Peoria County Jail.

Officers located a male student urinating in public at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 20 at the intersection of North Institute Place and West Bradley Avenue.

Officers were patrolling when they noticed three males appearing to be in an argument. After realizing they were just talking, the officers noticed one of the males, a student, urinating.

The officers questioned the student, and he said he had been drinking at his dorm and in the bars. The student also said he was underage, so the officers asked to see the fake ID.

The student received a citation for urinating in public, and his fake ID was confiscated.
