Dear Bradley students,
Welcome home! I hope you have all had an enjoyable summer and are ready for an exciting school year.
Last spring there was an overwhelming amount of campus involvement during student body officer elections. This year Kyle, Candace, Patrick and I hope to keep that excitement alive. As your elected student body officers we are responsible for representing you in front of the administration and addressing any issues or concerns you bring to us.
We are eager to serve in these positions and hope to assist you in any way we can.
We hope you have high expectations for us, because we have high expectations for you. As a Bradley student, it is your responsibility to be informed and engaged. We are ready to work hard and hope that you bring us issues to be resolved.
Please be active and hold us accountable – read about our progress in the Scout, check out the Student Senate Web site, watch our bulletin board in the Student Center, and listen to our updates at Hall Council.
Also, consider sitting on one of our six committees (Academic Affairs, Campus Affairs, Diversity Affairs, Internal Affairs, Technology Services & Affairs, Student Relations) – after attending two meetings you become a voting member! This is a great way to be involved and voice your opinion with a minimal time commitment.
Additionally, please remember to vote next week in senator elections. Residence halls will be holding elections during regular building office hours on Monday and Tuesday. Elections for off-campus senators will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. and 3 to 4 p.m. in the Student Center and 7 to 10 p.m. in the library on Monday and Tuesday.
Thank you so much for your participation and support last spring during elections! Please let any of the student body officers know if there is any way we can be of help to you this year. We can all be contacted by e-mail or through the Student Senate Web site and look forward to working with you!
Warmest regards,
Tricia Anklan
Student Body Vice-President
