Single? No worries

In case you don’t have a special someone on Valentine’s day, don’t fret. We haven’t forgotten you! Voice has compiled a list of fun activities for all the single ladies (and gentlemen)

1.  Hang out with friends and enjoy some great music at the Brave Sounds Second Annual Sounds of Love event. The event includes a performance by Raquel Rodriguez, a Barbecue Kitten show and  contests for best couple, most eligible bachelor and bachelorette and best bromance with some pretty awesome prizes.

2. Take yourself out. Total up what you would be spending on someone else if you had a valentines date and spend that cash on yourself. Get a manicure, get a massage, buy a new video game, whatever you do to spoil yourself, do it. Love yourself this valentines day.

3. Give back. Make valentines day cards for the troops and spread the love. You can send them through Hugs for Troops and even add candy. Visit www.hugsforsoldiers.org for more information. You can also make cards for the patients at the local hospitals. Send valentines cards to your out of town friends and family just to let them know you love them and you’ll feel the karmic love tenfold.

4. If none of these ideas seem like your cup of tea, and you’re of legal age, there is one obvious solution. Drink. Go out and enjoy dollar bottles at Cams with your friends, gather your group of singles around a cheap margarita at one of the many Thursday night special boasting bars and gush about how much it rocks to not be tied down.

Don’t let valentines day get you down just because you’re single, enjoy yourself and don’t worry about the hype.
