Police Reports: 2016-04-01

• Police received a report of theft from Campustown’s CVS Pharmacy at 8:32 p.m. Thursday, March 24. An employee reported they saw an unknown male steal two cases of beer when reviewing their security footage.
Police then received a second report of theft from the same CVS Pharmacy at 4:50 p.m. on Monday, March 28.
The unknown male from March 24 returned and stole another two cases of beer from the business. When a staff member recognized him from the security footage, the police were immediately called.
The male was arrested.

• A male student reported a residential burglary that occurred sometime between 1 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26.
The student told officers an unknown person entered through his residence at the 1500 block of W. Bradley Avenue and stole a hammock.
There are no suspects.

• A male student was arrested for theft of a greek letter previously stolen on Feb. 19.
He was arrested at 4 p.m. March 28.

• A male student reported his vehicle damaged while parked at Markin Recreational Center.
The hit-and-run occurred at 4:51 p.m. Sunday, March 27.
There are no suspects.

• Police received a report of disorderly conduct at 4:29 a.m. Friday, March 25.
A female reported two male students standing at the corner of W. Fredonia Avenue and N. Institute Place and being loud.
The males were issued municipal ordinance violation notice citations for underage drinking.

• A female student’s vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run accident at 8:30 a.m. Friday, March 25 on the 1200 block of W. Main Street.
An unknown vehicle sideswiped the student’s car and damaged her mirror overnight.
There are no suspects

• Police received a report of a bicycle theft at 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 28.
A female student reported her bicycle lock was broken at 1809 W. Laura Ave. and her bicycle had been removed.
There are no suspects.
