Police Reports 3.7.14

• A male student reported around 1:15 p.m. Feb. 26 that a lock box with $120 in cash was taken from a drawer in the Harper Hall lobby office. The drawer and lock box were left unlocked. Officers will continue the investigation.

• A female student reported around 11 p.m. Feb. 26 that a male student threatened her. She said around Valentine’s Day, she asked the male student what he would do if she made him a card, and he said he would harm her. She said she heard him make threats to other students. The male was questioned and said he had anger issues and would seek counseling. The female is still considering pressing charges.

• An officer was called to Shell gas station on Main Street around 6:30 p.m. Feb. 27 for a male non-student that was panhandling. The male approached customers and asked for money. Officers found the male in the 1000 block of Main. He is a repeat panhandler and was previously banned from Bradley property and Campustown. He received a ticket for panhandling and was banned from the gas station.

• An officer was called to the 1000 block of Underhill St. around 10:45 p.m. Feb. 27 for a loud noise complaint. The officer spoke with a female student who said she told the resident of the apartment to turn the music down multiple times. The officer talked to the male student resident who said his music wasn’t disruptive and that the police shouldn’t have been called. He received a ticket for noise restrictions.
