Ohio State guard Evan Turner declared for the NBA draft on Wednesday at a press conference. The Associated Press player of the year is passing up on his senior season with the Buckeyes to take his place amongst the top players in the draft.
Turner was selected as the top player in the nation after he averaged 20.3 points and 9.2 rebounds. The Buckeyes won the regular season title for the Big Ten and a berth in the NCAA tournament’s Sweet Sixteen.
