The Kyle Smith Variety Show September 14

Metalcore and Electronica fans unite! All these popular music genres will collide at the Salty Spitoon, with bands like Slaughter Camp, Peacekeeper and Eminent Mystery all attending. DJ Cavi will provide post-show entertainment for the event, which starts at 6 p.m.

All these metalcore bands will play live at the Brass Rail, Peoria’s Home for Live Music, located on Farmington Road. Fans of the bands won’t want to miss this sure to be rockin’ event, which starts at 7 p.m.

Modern Day Romeos September 13

One of the most popular cover bands of the past decade is coming to the Peoria Riverfront. MDR specializes in everything from classic ‘80s rock to modern hits, and they’ll be playing from 7:30-11:30 p.m. Admission is only $7, making this perfect weekend entertainment for music lovers.

Take a Stab at the Riverfront! September 13 

Settle in at the Peoria Riverfront Museum for dinner and a movie! Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. in the Gateway Building downtown. At 8 p.m., sit back and watch Alfred Hitchcock’s classic thriller film “Rear Window” in the Giant Screen Theater at the museum. The deadline to buy tickets is September 12 and there’s limited seating, so get those tickets now for an unforgettable Friday the 13th.

Who’s Bad September 14

The King of Pop may no longer be with us, but his legacy lives on through this live performance event that pays homage to Michael Jackson’s best works. Any fan of Jackson or pop music in general will want to get in on the action. The show runs from 7:30 -11:30 p.m. on the Peoria Riverfront. You can buy advanced tickets for $10 by calling 309-494-6713 or going to Emack and Bolios on the Riverfront. Tickets cost $15 on the night of the show.

Oktoberfest September 20-22
