Bradley women’s golf started their season off strong over the weekend.
The team competed in the A-Ga-Ming Invitational, placing third as a team with two Braves finishing inside of the top 10.
Senior Jillian Cosler led the way for the Braves, carding an even par to finish tied for fourth place overall. Cosler was routinely inside the top 10 throughout the course of the tournament. She saved her best performance until the very end when she had a two-under-par score on the final day to propel herself inside the top five.
Cosler, the program’s active leader in top-10 finishes, earned her ninth top-10 finish of her career, her best finish since placing third at the 2025 Coyote Creek Classic.
Freshman Meredith Finger tied for seventh in her collegiate debut, scoring a two-over-par across 54 holes. Finger entered the final round tied for 20th, but produced a three-under-par 69. This score tied for the second-lowest 18-hole score among all golfers.
This performance earned Finger her first career top 10 finish. She is the first freshman golfer to finish in the top 10 in her debut in a half-decade, back when Maria Perakis finished tied for ninth at the 2021 Redbird Invitational.
Allison Siets registered as an individual and tied for 27th at 227. Siets had an even-par 72 in the opening round of the tournament.
Peyton Coburn tied for 45th at 232, while Alyssa Mixon tied for 50th at 233. Brooke Deebs rounded out the performance, placing 55th at 235.
The Braves will be back in action next weekend at the Badger Invitational on Sept. 13-15.
