
The Bradley women’s golf team overcame the odds to win its third Coyote Creek Classic title in its last six attempts.
The tournament was competitive until the Braves won thanks to Peyton Coburn, who finished second overall at 226 (10 over par). As a result, Coburn won the Busey Bank Scholar Athlete of the Week.
Bradley’s Jillian Cosler and Alyssa Mixon finished in the top ten, tying with a 234. This was Cosler’s second top-10 finish this season, while this was Mixon’s first top-10 finish since her performance at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship in April.
Meredith Finger recorded her second top-twenty finish of the season, finishing 18th with a 239.
Brooke Deebs was the last Brave in the top 20 at 19th as she carded a 240. This is her first top-20 finish since her Coyote Creek Classic performance in 2024.
Competing as an individual, Allison Seitz logged her best finish as a Brave with a 235, tied for 12th place overall.
Addie Jennings also competed as an individual and finished in 33rd place at 249.
The Braves will compete next at the Edisto Island Invitational on Oct. 19-20.
