The Black Student Alliance will be awarding Mr. or Miss Excellence awards to sophomores, juniors and seniors and a Mr. or Miss Freshman award.
According to the group’s post in Hilltop Happenings, these awards will be given to students who “take pride in their culture, illustrate service, success and a positive attitude.” The committee will select the top three candidates for each category, and final decisions will be made during the Black Excellence Ball at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 21 in the Student Center Ballroom.
