Galentine’s Day Sip ‘N Shop to offer weekend outing

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 9, guests of Northwoods Mall can celebrate Galentine’s Day early through shopping, treats, mocktails, wine tasting, live music and massages.

Local bookstore to host Galentine’s Day night

Lit on Fire Used Books at 712 W. Main St. will provide live music, light snacks and drink for guests to celebrate great women and friendships starting at 8 p.m. on Feb. 13. A $5 donation is suggested.

Museum to offer romantic date night

The Peoria Riverfront Museum is hosting a romantic night under the stars at the Dome Planetarium at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 14. Tickets are available for $20 for those 21 years and older and include a glass of wine and small bag of chocolates.

Prepare to laugh your Valentine’s Day away

Feb. 14 begins a new series of comedy open mics that will be from 8 to 11 p.m. every Thursday night at Broken Tree Cafe located at 700 W. Main St.
