The Movie Club will show “Stroszek,” a film about a German man recently released from prison. In pursuit of a better life, he leaves Europe and settles in rural Wisconsin with a ragtag group of unlikely friends. The 1977 film is directed by Werner Herzog.
“Stroszek” will be shown in the Marty Theater of the Student Center basement at 7 p.m. Jan. 29. The screening is free to attend, and a discussion of the movie will follow.
