Sorority to host Do Over Prom
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is hosting their f irst ever Do Over Prom, complete with food, music and more. Formal wear is suggested for this e vent from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m. on Oct. 20 in the Michel Student Center Ba llroom.
Monster trucks roll through Peoria
The Peoria Civic Center will feature Monster Jam entertainment at 7 p.m. on Oct. 19. Tickets to se e these famous monster races run from $15 to $35 and ca n be purchased through the Pe oria Civic Center’s website.
Local theaters sell last-minute Halloween costumes
Anyone still searching for the p erfect Halloween costume can check out costume sales at two locations: Peoria Players Theatre (4300 N. Univ ersity St.) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 19 and 8 a.m. to 12 p .m on Oct. 20 or a t Cornstock Theatre (1700 N Park Rd.) from 10 a.m. to 3 p .m. on Oct. 20 and O ct. 21.
Concerts play at Dingeldine
The Bradley Symphony Orchestra will present their first concert of the year at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 20. Faculty m embers Marcia Henry Liebenow and Andrea Molina will present a recital at 3 p .m. on Oct. 21. Both e vents are free for students.
