Briefs: Kolb Lecturer to talk about green chemistry

The 2019 Kolb Lecture will be John C. Warner, chief technology officer of Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry. Warner has received the Perkin Medal, the highest honor for a chemist. He will discuss green chemistry, the philosophy that seeks to reduce the use of hazardous materials at the design stage of a material’s process. The presentation is on April 9 at 7 p.m. in Bradley Hall 145.
