Chicago-based author Rebecca Makkai is coming to campus April 19 in the Wyckoff Room in Cullom-Davis Library.
Makkai is the author of various pieces, including: “The Great Believers,” “Music for Wartime,” “The Hundred-Year House” and “The Borrower.” She has earned many awards, most recently receiving the 2017 Pushcart Prize in addition to her inclusion in the Best American Short Stories from 2008 to 2011.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will last until 9 p.m.
