- An officer investigating a fire alarm at a residence in the 1400 block of Fredonia saw a female student being carried from the building around 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4. The female was underage and appeared highly intoxicated. A breathalyzer was given, and the BAC was 0.227. An ambulance was called, and the female was transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
- A male non-student reported an unknown person removed his secured, unattended bike from his front porch in the 1500 block of Callender Ave. between 6 p.m. Oct. 4 and 3:30 p.m. Oct. 6. The chain the male reported using to lock up the bike was also missing.
- A male student reported an unknown person entered his unsecured, unattended room in his residence in the 700 block of N. Institute St. around 2 a.m. Oct. 5. The unknown person removed the male and another female student’s property without consent. Multiple people were inside the residence at the time of the burglary.
- An officer on patrol saw a male student walking behind the residence in the 1000 block of N. Elmwood Ave around 11 p.m. Oct. 10. The officer asked the male if he could be patted down. The male tried to back away and was handcuffed and searched. The officer found a pill bottle and drug paraphernalia, and the male was released.
