- An officer observed two female students having difficulty walking at 2:40 a.m. Jan. 25 on the 1400 block of Bradley Ave. While speaking with the females, the officer could smell the strong odor of alcohol. Both females voluntarily took breathalyzer tests and admitted to consuming beer at a residence on the 1500 block of Fredonia Ave. They were referred to Residential Life for underage consumption of alcohol and the officer provided them an escort to their residence.
- A Williams Hall resident advisor met with an officer at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25 to conduct a dorm room drug search in the Student Apartment Complex. A female student, two male students and a male non-student were in the room. The resident advisor said she collected a small plastic bag of a green leafy substance which contained drugs, along with one hitter pipe, a lighter and a plastic bottle containing paper to mask the odor of the substance. All items were logged into Bradley Police Department’s evidence. Two of the students were referred to residential life. The officer requested a letter be sent to the non-student to ban him from Bradley property.
- A female student called an officer at 3:30 a.m. last Saturday to her University Hall dorm room to report a naked man sleeping in her room. She said she did not know who he was. The male, a non-student, had a strong odor of alcohol on his person. When woken by the officer, he said he was visiting a male student friend. The friend was located in his room in the dorm, and he also smelled strongly of alcohol and had open beer cans and shot glasses in his room. The male student was issued a ticket for underage consumption of alcohol and was referred to Residential Life. The non-student male was also issued a ticket for underage consumption of alcohol and was banned from Bradley property. He was allowed to stay the night until he sobered up.
- An officer was dispatched to University Hall around 9 a.m. last Saturday and found a female appearing to dry herself under a hand dryer in the third floor women’s bathroom. The female non-student was disorientated and claimed to have spent the night in a room on the third floor. The officer discovered the female had actually slept in a room on the fourth floor, and was invited to a party on campus by a female student. The female was escorted off of campus by the officer.
