Police Reports: March 29, 2019

• On March 16 at 8 p.m., a female student notified BUPD after security surveillance at her res-idence on Fredonia Avenue picked up two males attempting to burglarize her vehicle. The males were located by officers, but fled. The area was searched with negative results, but the suspects’ bicycles were recovered.

• A BUPD officer noticed a wallet on the sidewalk on the evening of March 17. Upon opening the wallet to identify the owner, he noticed a bag of meth and a hypodermic needle inside. Later that day, the owner stopped inside BUPD to ask if her wallet had been recovered and was arrested for possession as well as for a previous warrant for failure to appear in court.

• A faculty member reported a missing Bradley ID and key the evening of March 21 after her vehicle was burglarized at Donovan Park. The exterior locks to the building were changed and the missing Bradley ID was deactivated.

• On March 22, a burglar alarm was activated at a St. James residence at 832 N. Frink St. Up-on further investigation, officers found that the student resident accidentally tripped the alarm. The alarm was reset.

• Residential Living staff collected wax that tested positive for cannabis during a drug search in Lovelace Hall on March 25. Staff handled the referral for the search.
