Police Reports: April 21, 2023

  • At 7:32 p.m. on April 15 on the 500 block of N. Glenwood Ave., a Bradley student located a three-year-old walking alone. Responding officers from BUPD recognized the child from the neighborhood and brought them back to their family. A family member went on a walk with the child and their siblings when the child wandered off without them noticing.
  • At 9 p.m. on April 16 at the St. James Apartment Complex, a Bradley student was notified by another student that they were mentioned in a fantasy roleplaying Discord chat that displayed disturbing content. The student stated they knew about the comments, but later told their parents. Officers talked to the suspect, who was advised to have no contact with the student.
  • Around 11:26 p.m. on April 18 at Williams Hall, a building maintenance worker accidentally set off a fire alarm. This occurred after they were fixing the fire alarm and triggered it.
  • At an unknown time on April 18 at Wyckoff Hall, a Bradley student’s bicycle was stolen from a rack in front of the building. The next day, the owner of the bicycle filled out a silent witness form provided by BUPD. In the report, they stated that they did not give anyone permission to use the bicycle and wanted it back. Although the form was anonymous, they provided all of their contact information, along with their roommate’s information.
