Police Reports: April 7, 2023

  • At 8:39 p.m. on March 30 at Williams Hall, a backpack was left in the dining hall and then turned over to BUPD. Upon searching the backpack, officers found a resealable bag and a pill bottle containing 2.28 grams of cannabis, along with homework. The bottle displayed a different name than that on the homework but after speaking with the student whose name was displayed, they stated that they gave the backpack owner the bottle not knowing its intended use. The owner of the backpack took responsibility for all its contents.
  • At 11:10 p.m. on April 1 at the fraternity house Pi Kappa Alpha, BUPD noticed a broken window after making a routine drive through Fredonia Avenue. Upon approaching the house, officers observed an unregistered party. When questioning the residents of the home, a student stated that they left their ID card inside the house and kicked the window in an attempt to get people’s attention inside which resulted in the window cracking. An in-place work order was placed for the window.
  • Around 12:07 p.m. on April 1 at the Renaissance Coliseum, a Bradley student passed out and hit their head on a water fountain. The student was then taken to a separate room and given food and water before vomiting. The student was later transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center by AMT.
  • Around 9:40 p.m. on April 4 on W. Main Street at N. Bourland Avenue, a non-Bradley-affiliated individual approached a Bradley student’s parked vehicle and threw an unknown object at the vehicle. After pulling away and driving past the individual, the suspect made a hand motion that disturbed the driver.
