On Feb. 15 at 3:25 p.m., a former Bradley employee whose wallet was found containing methamphetamine on Jan. 8 was arrested for unrelated charges. Once located, the individual was held by BUPD based on a hold request that was placed a month prior. The individual will face no jail time for possession of methamphetamine.
On Feb. 16 at 12:20 a.m., the banned non-Bradley-affiliated individual who attacked a student in Geisert in August 2024, was found walking around campus covering their face with a tightly pulled on hoodie. When asked for their identity by a police officer, the suspect provided a fake name. The suspect was arrested for obstruction of justice and trespassing.
On Feb. 14 at 4:11 a.m., a BUPD officer stopped at a traffic light and witnessed a vehicle enter the wrong lane and run a red light. The officer initiated a traffic stop, and the car fled. BUPD contacted the DMV, which provided the vehicle owner’s home address and found that the vehicle was shared between a mother and daughter. The mother claimed that the daughter was using the car and was not currently home. BUPD is still trying to locate the suspect.
On Feb. 16 at 3:43 a.m., a Bradley student attempted to forcibly kiss his girlfriend by grabbing her face at an off-campus bar. The victim turned away and was reportedly not distraught by this action. There was no evidence of injury or abuse.
