On Oct. 28 at 11:00 p.m., BUPD received a report that a student dislocated another student’s rib by sitting on them. The injured student said it was intentional while the other student claimed it was an accident. An investigation into the report is ongoing.
On Oct. 29 at 6:01 a.m., BUPD responded to an on-campus emergency phone activation. The non-Bradley-affiliated individual who activated the emergency phone was involved in a domestic dispute that the Peoria Police were investigating. The individual reportedly pepper-sprayed his mother before coming onto campus. Peoria Police officers arrested the suspect.
On Oct. 29 at 11:39 p.m., a BUPD officer observed three students smoking cannabis in the Duryea Parking Deck stairwell. When the individuals spotted the officer, they ran toward the Bradley Bookstore. The officer caught up to the students, confiscated three grams of cannabis and released them with a verbal warning.
On Oct. 28 at 4:12 p.m., an individual reported that their neighbor’s car was being broken into. BUPD contacted the car’s owner to assess any damages or stolen belongings. The car’s passenger window was broken and, according to the owner, personal papers were stolen from the vehicle. BUPD has yet to locate the suspect.
