Police Reports: November 18, 2022

  • At 11:18 p.m. on Nov. 12 in the Business and Engineering Convergence Center, the suspect that had previously tore an all gender bathroom sign off the wall returned the sign by taping it back up. Bradley University Police Department contacted the suspect and told them to come into the station. When talking to the police, the suspect explained that they had read the police reports from last week and decided to return the sign. They were charged with theft and criminal damage to property.
  • At 1:13 p.m. on Nov. 16 in the Main Street Parking Deck, three unknown suspects removed a fire extinguisher from the roof and sprayed the blue-litemergency phone, which activated it. Responders arrived at the scene and found that the fire extinguisher cabinet door had been stolen.
  • Around 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 in the Business and Engineering Convergence Center, an unknown suspect drew an obscene symbol on the inside of the elevator door with a greasy finger. The symbol was later removed by the complainant. Cameras didn’t catch the suspect due to the lack of cameras in the elevator.
  • Around 7 p.m. on Oct. 29 at Saddle Up Dance Club, a victim alleged they were drugged after consuming alcohol. Earlier that evening, the victim drank a beer before going to parties on Fredonia Avenue and Parkside Drive, only drinking one beer at each party. The victim then Ubered to Saddle Up and ordered two alcoholic slushies and began blacking out before finishing the first slushie. Friends of the victim claimed they were jumping around and yelling. The victim later arrived at their home around 3:30 a.m. It was not reported until Nov. 14.
