Police Reports: October 25, 2024

  • On Oct. 18 at 4:11 p.m., BUPD received a 911 call from non-Bradley-affiliated individuals, but they suddenly hung up before the situation was resolved. The call contained a male screaming, which alerted BUPD to the suspects. The male suspect was reportedly punching a female in a domestic dispute involving laundry. Both suspects were arrested and charged with domestic battery.                                                                                                                                             
  • On Oct. 22 at 10:00 a.m., a Bradley student reported violent threats made to them by an unknown caller. The student was arranging a meet-up with an escort service, and after the original phone call, the student was contacted by an unknown number from New Jersey, claiming the student owed the suspect $2,500. The student called BUPD after the non-Bradley-affiliated individual made threats regarding the student’s family. BUPD is actively looking into the incident.                                                                                                                              
  • On Oct. 18 at 4:05 p.m., a non-Bradley-affiliated individual was spotted outside the CVS in Campustown asking for money. The individual had warrants for his arrest for multiple unpaid fines from the past few months. The individual was reportedly banned from Campustown and Bradley property from prior incidents. BUPD took the individual into custody and issued him citations.                                                                                                                                                            
  • On Oct. 20 at 2:06 p.m., BUPD responded to a call about a broken window at the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity house. It was reported that the window was broken after a can of SPAM was thrown through it, which wasn’t noticed for approximately 12 hours. The SPAM remained intact through the window and into the kitchen. BUPD has yet to identify any suspects related to the incident.
