- On Oct. 26 between 2:20 and 2:31 p.m., two non-Bradley-affiliated males aged 18 entered Slice Hub and got into a verbal altercation with Bradley students there. The two males took the disturbance outside as tensions escalated. One pushed a Bradley student, threatening to get a gun when this did not elicit a reaction. A student at the scene reported that the suspects went to their car to get the gun, and the students hid in the bathroom and called the police. When one of the suspects returned and banged on the bathroom door, the Slice Hub staff told him to leave, prompting further verbal conflict from the suspect. When BUPD officers arrived shortly after, the males drove away in their car. After a traffic stop, officers caught them, and they were charged with disorderly conduct and illegal possession of alcohol and marijuana.
- On Oct. 25 at 9:06 p.m., three masked and hooded suspects attempted to break into vehicles parked in the Main St. commons parking lot. All the cars they tested were locked, and they left. However, at 2:56 a.m., only a few hours after their first attempt, two of the three suspects returned. This time, they found an unlocked car and stole two gift cards from inside before leaving. The investigation is ongoing.
- On Oct. 30 at 12:30 a.m., a safety cruiser driver saw a male unconscious on the grass by Main and Elmwood St. near Wyckoff Hall, surrounded by Bradley students who appeared to be attempting CPR. After BUPD was contacted, officers arrived and tried to wake him by shaking him and speaking with him, but he was unresponsive. Once they conducted a sternum rub, he woke up, and they stayed with him until he was medically cleared. He was transported to Methodist Hospital for further treatment.
- On Oct. 24, BUPD received a report of theft at Holmes Hall that had occurred on Oct. 21 at around 10:00 a.m. The Holmes Hall Chef Manager reported receiving a delivery of boxed Italian lemon cakes, only to find two boxes of them missing after leaving them in the fridge. Footage is still being reviewed, and the investigation is ongoing.
