Police Reports: September 30, 2022

  • At 5 p.m. on Sept. 23 at Geisert Hall, a student reported that their roommate had stolen their debit card and was making purchases on Sept. 19 without their permission. The suspect claimed that they were using their own card, but text messages that the victim showed police later revealed that the suspect knew they were in possession of the victim’s card.

  • Around 11 p.m. on Sept. 27 at Lovelace Hall, a Bradley student’s friend, who was unaffiliated with the university, visited campus and smoked cannabis they had brought. They later reported they had smoked “bad weed” and were feeling ill, and requested to be transported to Methodist Hospital. After the student’s dorm was searched, officers found a bag of weed, edibles and a CBD pen.

  • At 10:38 p.m. on Sept. 24 in front of Bacci Pizzeria, a suspect started a physical altercation with an individual. The suspect approached the victim, while yelling and throwing a chair at them. The suspect then claimed that they had been attacked by six Bacci’s employees and had to be restrained after they failed to comply with police. The suspect was later released without charges.

  • On Sept. 27 at CVS at an unknown time, an older regular customer began making unwanted contact with multiple employees. The suspect told one employee that they wanted to take them to Mexico for vacation, and told another employee that they were very good-looking. The suspect also told another employee that they would put them in their suitcase and bring them to Mexico. Police told the suspect not to go near the employees again.
