After months of improvement, work and performances, Bradley women’s golf teed off one last time this fall, looking to end the season on a high note.
The team traveled to Manhattan, KS, over the weekend to compete in the Powercat Invitational, the final meet of the fall season.
The lineup for the Powercat Invitational included: seniors Caroline McConnell and Allison Pacocha, junior Jillian Cosler, and sophomores Alyssa Mixon and Peyton Coburn.
The team faced 16 schools at Colbert Hill Golf Club, with the event being hosted by Kansas State.
The first day of competition began with a shotgun start on a par-72 course, followed by two rounds totaling 36 holes. The second day consisted of one 18-hole round.
The Braves finished in eighth place out of 16 opponents.
Coburn led the team, securing her third top 20 finish of the season, and carded 78-78-77 in her three rounds of play for 233 strokes. This placed her 18th out of 88 players on the course.
Mixon came in 25th with a score of 236, which was 20-over-par for the tournament. McConnell and Pacocha both scored 239, tying for 34th place.
Closing their fall season, the women’s golf team will recharge over the winter months and hit the course again come Feb. 20-22, 2026, where their spring season will begin with the team’s annual trip to Rio Verde, AZ, for the Rio Verde Invitational.
