With winter on the horizon, the fall golf season has ended.
Bradley men’s golf team concluded their fall season with a ninth-place finish at the Pinetree Intercollegiate, hosted by Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Junior Connor Hamm and sophomore Carter Stevenson led the way for the Braves, both finishing in the top ten. Hamm continued his stellar season by tying for fourth with a 3-over-par 219. Stevenson was behind him, tied for sixth place with a 4-over-par 220. The two posted their best score in the tournament’s second round, with both players shooting a 2-under par 70.
The Braves had three other players in the tournament: sophomores Brody McCarthy, Devin Reichard and senior Jeremy Ott.
McCarthy placed third best on the team, tying for 34th place overall with a final score of 234. He posted his best score in the first round of the tournament, shooting a 3-over-par 75.
Reichard placed 58th in the tournament, scoring 256 across the three rounds. His best round was the second, shooting a 10-over-par 82.
Ott made his season debut, filling in for junior Max Adams, who was initially scheduled to play. He placed 60th with a final score of 264. His best round was in the second round, as he shot a 10-over-par 82.
The Braves now head into the winter offseason and will return to action on Feb. 15-16, when they travel to Savannah, Georgia, to compete in the Savannah Intercollegiate.
