Sports briefs

  • Bradley women’s golf finished fourth of 11 teams at the par-304 Cardinal Classic in Yorktown, Indiana on Tuesday. Sophomore Elyse Emerzian tied for 12th while junior Maddie Hawkins finished in a tie for 17th individually. The team will play at the Missouri Valley Conference Preview in Burlington, Iowa on Monday and Tuesday.
  • The tennis team opened its season with individual flights at the CSU Cougar Invite over the weekend at Chicago State. Bradley finished 12-5 in singles competition and 7-1 in doubles play. The team hosts the Bradley Invitational today through Sunday at the Markin Tennis Courts.
  • Kyle Dillon has been named Director of Operations for the women’s basketball team. He will oversee team travel and supervise the team’s managers and practice players. Dillon spent the last two years as director of operations at College of Charleston. He replaces Dee Davis.
