Holy cow, Kanye’s new album is impressive

Kanye West is back in the music industry with the release of his ninth studio album titled “Jesus is King.” The album has a total of 196.9 million on-demand audio streams and 264,000 album sales since its release on Oct. 25.

This album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and is Kanye’s ninth album to do so, a record that tied him with Eminem’s active streak for consecutive No. 1 Album in Billboard chart’s history.

Long-time fans are well aware of West’s Christian past, but his new Christ-inspired lifestyle brought out a different light that many are loving.

Fans have been wondering if West would produce his own Christian album since the creation of his Sunday church services in early January.

This 27 minute long album also features other prominent artists and producers like Ty Dolla $ign, Timbaland, Warryn Campbell, Benny Blanco, E*vax, Finatik N Zac, Francis Starlite, Labrinth, Mike Dean, Pi’erre Bourne and Ronny J. “Jesus is King” captured many people’s attention because it also debuted on different charts including Artist 100, Top Gospel Albums and Top Christian Albums.

Following this, West also managed to land every song on the album in Billboard’s Hot 100 during the second week since its release. “Follow God,” the third song on the album, placed the highest on the charts at No. 7, while the other songs weren’t too far off in the ranks, giving West a very solid lineup.

Fans all around the world are now praising and worshipping the Lord while listening to West’s album, and it appears that West’s goal for the album—serving God in every way he can—has been fulfilled. What song on the album has you praising the Lord?
