Police Reports: 2014-09-12

• A female student found another female student passed out on the sidewalk in the 900 block of Elmwood Ave. near the Heitz Hall emergency phone at 11:40 p.m. Sept. 3.
The intoxicated student woke up and walked to the third floor of Heitz Hall. Officers dispatched to the scene tried to question the female. She was unable to provide appropriate responses to the officer’s questions and refused a breathalyzer test. The female was taken to OSF Hospital and issued an underage drinking ticket.

• Police officers found an intoxicated male student lying face down at the corner of Duryea and Bradley at 1:15 a.m. Sept. 6. When officers questioned the male about his age, he lied several times before admitting he was underage.
The male took a breathalyzer test and blew a .193, warranting a call to paramedics, but the student signed a refusal of treatment. Officers issued the student a citation for underage drinking.

• Officers were dispatched to Harper Hall for a drug search at 12:41 a.m. Sept. 7. Residence hall staff members performed a plain view search of a dorm room and found a coffee cup with flakes of marijuana and an e-cigarette. Both items were confiscated and the e-cigarette, which came out negative for any illegal substances, was given back to residence hall staff. Officers are keeping the cup as evidence.

• Two female students reported seeing a male non-student engaging in lewd behavior at 4 p.m. Aug. 8. The first female student reported seeing the man rubbing himself while staring at females in the library. The second female student came back to the library at 9:44 p.m. to find the male walking around looking at females. Police officers arrived at the scene, arrested the male and banned him from all Bradley property.

• Officers caught a female student urinating on the steps in front of Geisert Hall at 2:35 p.m. Sept. 10.
When asked how much she drank, she admitted to drinking “a little.” Officers issued a ticket for public indecency and released the female.

• Officers were dispatched to the first floor Williams bathroom at 2:53 a.m. Sept. 10 as a female student was found passed out on the bathroom floor. According to officers, it appeared as though the female fell off the toilet.
The female woke up and admitted to drinking “everywhere” on Fredonia. She was transported to OSF Hospital.
