Police Reports: 2014-11-14

• Two female students reported their wallets and cellphones stolen from Renaissance Coliseum at 9 p.m. Nov. 9.
Both students were attending a school function when they put their wallets and phones in the first female’s jacket.
The jacket was set on a seat in the northeast area of the stadium. When the students returned to their seats, the coat was missing.
No suspects were found, but staff members recovered the property Nov. 12.

• Officers were dispatched to the Main Street Parking Deck at 5 p.m. Nov. 6 after a male student was in a car accident.
When backing out of the parking lot in a Bradley van, the male hit the driver’s side door, a mirror of another car and a pillar in the garage.
The second car belonged to a male faculty member. Both cars suffered minimal damage.

• Officers were dispatched to University Hall after a female student reported being in severe pain at 5:13 p.m. Nov. 6.
When police arrived, the student said she was suffering from an esophageal spasm.
She was taken to OSF Medical Center in an ambulance.

• Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Frink St. at 8 a.m. Nov. 8.
A female non-student reported her student boyfriend would not give back her phone.
She discovered the male going through her phone and reading her text messages when she came home.
The male took the phone because he thought she was cheating on him and was searching through her text messages.
The male returned the phone when officers arrived. No tickets were issued.

• Officers were dispatched to the Main Street McDonald’s at 9 p.m. Nov. 9 when a female student reported being approached by a man asking her for money.
Officers tracked down the male and issued him a ticket for panhandling.
