Police Reports 1.31.14

• A female student was found walking without winter clothing in the snow around in the 1500 block of Bradley Ave. around midnight Jan. 21. She was intoxicated, and she said she tried to walk to her residence. An ambulance was called, and the female was transported to OSF St. Francis hospital for further treatment.

 

• An officer on patrol saw a male non-student having difficulty walking in the 1300 block of St. James St. around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The male admitted to drinking and took a breathalyzer with a BAC of .166. An ambulance was called, and the male signed a refusal form. He received a ticket for underage drinking and was released.

 

• A residence hall staff member conducted a drug search in Heitz Hall around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. A joint of marijuana was found that belonged to a male student. A male non-student friend was asked to leave the room and was banned from BU property. The staff said the room smelled strong of marijuana, and large amounts of cash were found that belonged to the male student.

 

• An officer found a male student lying on the ground near an entrance of Heitz Hall around 1 a.m. Tuesday. The male said he was kidding around with a friend and admitted to drinking. He had a BAC of .068 and received a warning for underage consumption of alcohol and was escorted back to his residence. The residential adviser and roommate were notified.
