CRUSENS II – Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press – Oct. 25
Don’t forget your baseball tees, shorty shorts and tube socks for this 80s cover band. Crusens will present Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press at 10 p.m. on Oct. 25. Do you like Tears for Fears, Bud Light Lime and Adult Swim? If so, head down for one of Bradley students’ most treasured cover bands. There’s also a costume contest, with a $100 award.
Bartonville, Ill.- The Haunted Infirmary – Oct. 25 & 26
It’s the final weekend to head out to the old Bartonville hospital for a good scare. According to reviews on, this is one of the scariest walks in the area. This place is filled with a scary history and is sure to be a good time. Tickets cost $15.

Chillicothe, Ill. – Spider Hill – Oct. 25 & 26
Spider Hill is one of the spookiest Halloween traditions in the area, and you still have time to visit. For those who have yet to go, there are three events that take place: Massacre Mansion, The Trail of Terror and The Zombie Invasion. The Zombie Invasion portion actually asks guests for help in fending off the zombies by allowing you to hit them with paint ball guns. There are very few experiences this terrifying and exciting! It’s $10 for the house/trail and $15 for the zombie paintball experience.

CRUSENS II – Brushville – Oct. 26
Summer’s over, but country music is still alive and well. Crusens II will host country cover band Brushville, previously known as Brushfire, Saturday starting at 10:30 p.m. For just a $7 cover, you can see one of the most exciting country acts in the area.
Peoria Civic Center Arena – Oct. 26
Peoria’s favorite hockey team, the Rivermen, take on the Bloomington Thunder at 7:15 p.m. Oct. 26. The lower bowl tickets range from $16-19, and the upper bowl tickets are $9-11.
