Brief: BUPD begins vacant house watch this week

Any students leaving town for Thanksgiving Break can register their residences with the Bradley University Police Department through the Vacant House Watch program.

Throughout the week of Nov. 22 to Nov. 26, BUPD will make routine patrol checks to all registered vacant houses in order to protect against crimes. Students are also encouraged to park their vehicles in either the Main Street or Duryea Avenue parking decks, which will also be patrolled. No permit fee is required to park vehicles in university parking decks for the duration of Thanksgiving Break.

To register for Vacant House Watch, contact BUPD at 309-677-2000.
