- On Oct. 26 at 7:13 a.m., BUPD was dispatched to an empty field behind Jimmy John’s to confront two unaffiliated individuals who were camping there. When officers arrived, the individuals were lying on a blanket with a small fire lit. Officers extinguished the fire by pouring water over it and notified the suspects that the field was Bradley property. After warning them they would be arrested for trespassing if they returned, officers also banned them.
- Kitchen staff at Williams Hall reported to BUPD on Oct. 24 at 1:18 p.m. that they saw a female student enter the building with a street sign attached to its pole. Officers visited her dorm after confirming the account through camera footage and found her there. Because the dorm was already open, they found the sign lying in the room and told her to return it. She explained that she found it lying along Union Hill and Moss Avenue and assisted officers in returning it.
- Officers were dispatched to speak with a female student on Oct. 26 as she reported that an ex-boyfriend was threatening her. She explained that she no longer wished to talk with the male student as he said he would send a recorded video of them everywhere. She reported that she did not consent to being recorded. When officers spoke with the ex-boyfriend, he initially denied possessing a video, then later said he had it and that she consented to it. Officers asked him to delete it, and both officers and the female student confirmed he deleted it. He apologized to her and no charges were filed.
