BUPD keeps houses safe during break

Students living in the Bradley off-campus community can register their residence with the Vacant House Watch Program so that the Bradley University Police Department will monitor their homes during winter break. Call 309-677-2000 before leaving for break to complete the confidential registration process to participate in the program that has reduced the number of burglaries during breaks.

Spa night to lessen finals stress

Women Who Empower will host a free spa night from 8 to 10 p.m. on Dec. 4 in Lydia’s Lounge, located in University Hall. Snacks, music, manicures and hand scrubs will be provided.

Historical homes open for the holidays

The Peoria Historical Society is hosting their seventh annual tour of historical homes in Peoria decorated lavishly for the holidays. This year’s tour will lead guests through five homes from 5 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 1 and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 2. Tickets are $20. For more information, call 309-674-1921.

Seniors to celebrate with free breakfast

A breakfast for seniors graduating in December 2018 will be served from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 13 in the Michel Student Center Ballroom.
