Cybersecurity panel provides awareness

In Westlake Hall 116, Bradley’s Center for Cybersecurity is hosting a Cybersecurity day to spread awareness on protection from hackers. The event will include a panel of expert speakers including former FBI special agent, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for command, control, communications, space and spectrum and a former business development director for Cambridge Analytica. The event will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23. For more information, contact Jacob Young at jayoung@fsmail.bradley.edu.

Civil War letters and career skills

The history department is hosting Tim Roberts, a professor of history at Western Illinois University, to present a lecture called, “How Editing Civil War Letters Can Build Career Skills.” The event will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 22 in Bradley Hall 146. Walk it like a witch

A luminary Witches Walk will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow in the Fondulac Park District Building in East Peoria. This event is for all ages and tickets are $2.50 for children under 15 years of age and $3 for adults. The event takes place at Fon du Lac Farm Park.

Bradley Symphony opens first concert

The Bradley Symphony Orchestra will have its first concert of the year at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Dingeldine Music Center. Tickets are free for Bradley students and $5 for general admission. For more information, contact Timothy Semanik at tsemanik@bradley.edu.

Peoria Quad Con on the riverfront

Peoria Quad Con will take place tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 600 Northeast Water St. to celebrate Halloween themed pop culture. This will include video games, comic books, pop vinyls and more. Tickets are $3. For more information, contact Quadcon at vintagetorque@gmail.com.
