Police reports: 2018-11-16

• Officers were dispatched to the Dollar Tree in Campustown on Nov. 11 at approximately 1 p.m. when an employee reported seeing a male student placing items in his backpack without paying. Among the 13 items taken were five pairs of winter gloves. He was arrested and banned from Campustown.

• On Nov. 9, an Aramark employee delivering food to Geisert dining hall threatened another employee while at work saying “I’m gonna catch you at 11.’’ The incident was reported to a supervisor, who suspended the employee that made the threat.

• Following previous reports on the 1300 block of W. Fredonia Ave., a second air-conditioning unit was kicked in on Nov. 9. An officer was shown video surveillance of the three suspects, and they were identified. Pictures were taken of the damage.

• On Nov. 12, a female student reported a van following her as she drove along Route 39 and I-74. She said she was not followed as she exited the interstate to University Street.

• A student employee set off a panic button under their register at the student center on Nov. 11. When officers arrived, the employee said they had accidentally pressed it.
