Police Reports: April 10, 2026

  • On March 28, a Bradley student returned to their legally parked car, located at 1109 N. Underhill, and found it damaged. From initial impressions, they reported to BUPD that it had been struck by another vehicle. Officers later backed this theory, determining that it was a hit-and-run. The investigation is ongoing.

  • On April 5, at 10:30 a.m., a Bradley student reported to BUPD that his car had been defaced with a yellow substance. Officers spoke with the student’s neighbor, who noted that the vehicle smelled like mustard the afternoon the student left it parked by his residence. The student told officers that he had a contentious breakup with his girlfriend, and he suspects she was behind the incident, as he alleged that she bragged about it to others. The investigation is ongoing.

  • On April 6, a student reported that she had received threats from an unknown suspect online who claimed they would spread the pictures she sent them of herself if they didn’t receive nude photos. An investigation is ongoing.

  • An officer patrolling the Bradley campus noticed a Bradley pole lying along the road on April 7. BUPD contacted the operations engineers, who shut down power to the pole and blocked off the area. Upon further inspection, camera footage revealed that strong winds had blown the pole down, not a car accident.
