Police Reports 11.22.13

  • Officers searched a residence hall in the 900 block of Elmwood Ave. due to a male non-student loitering inside the building around 1:45 a.m. Saturday. The male was on the third floor, located, and when he was searched he was found in possession of two baggies of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested for possession of cannabis less than 30 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. He was transported to Peoria County Jail by the Peoria Police Department. The male was banned from Bradley property.

 

  • A male student said he was walking up to his porch in the 800 block of N. Cooper around 7:30 p.m. Sunday when he saw a figure by his bicycle. He shined a flashlight on the figure and saw a male. The male ran off the porch southbound toward Bradley Avenue. The male called BUPD on an emergency phone at Clarissa Court and Bradley Avenue. The male gave a description, and officers located the suspect who was arrested and sent to Peoria County Jail on criminal trespass charges and disorderly conduct.

 

  • Two male students fled from officers conducting an investigation about a fight in the 1300 block of Fredonia Ave at 12:30 a.m. Sunday. One male could not be stopped. The other male was uncooperative and received tickets for underage drinking and disorderly conduct.

 

  • An unknown person set fire inside a Harper Hall elevator around 10:40 p.m. Monday, causing damage. The Peoria Fire Department was contacted, responded and extinguished the fire. Two male and two female students were interviewed. None of them were able to provide suspect information. The investigation is ongoing.
